Marketing E-Books

April 28, 2012

Twitter, E-Mails, and Blogs have been the major marketing tools for e-books as well as the Indie novels. Because of early and sometimes huge sales resulting from smart use of the various social networking advertisement sites, many, if not all the authors selling their wares on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other e-book outlets tried pushing the sell of their books with this method of advertisement.

Authors chances of gaining a market share plummeted accordingly and they were left to find another way. Blogs remained the best way to preview and explains the authors viewpoints, but again, getting buyers to examine the author’s blog was a 1 in 10,000 or more chance.

That said, a majority of unknown authors are still selling their books by twittering and facebooking as well as cooperating blogs and other social networking sites. To not use them is to parish, but again the number of people responding by purchasing them has deceased. Without publishing your book with an indie publisher and taking advantage of what little marketing and technical help they offer, for money, your chances are still very low.the alternative is going back to inquiry letters where your chances are even lower.

So far, no one has come up with a comprehensive answer and if an individual does; he/she will probably be an instant success. That is, if enough people find it  and use it; which is our current problem.I am definitely open to suggestions about this problem. Please comment.
